I woke up leisurely at about 7:30 AM, updated this blog, and headed down for coffee at about 8:15 AM. This was a nice, relaxing morning, with Sheila staying in bed until 9:30 AM.
After breakfast, Deepak, his lovely older daughter Marukh, Sheila, and I headed out for some shopping. After briefly stopping by Deepak's studio, we went to Janpath and bought a bunch of various trinkets and things at the Cottage Emporium and the street vendors. Marukh was a consummate bargainer and we never paid close to full price for anything. We cut through Palika Bazaar where I bought some blurays and saw the massive Indian flag that has been placed at Connaught Place, apparently after a court fight.
Lunch was at Saravana Bhavan in CP and I ordered my usual Ghee Paper Roast Dosai - loaded with saturated fats and incredibly delicious. Sheila also enjoyed her ghee paper roast.
After a long day of wandering around Delhi, we headed back home before leaving again at night for "Cyber Hub" in Gurgaon for dinner. We had a final meeting with Rohini and SidP at a restaurant (The Dhaba by Claridges) where we enjoyed some delicious kebabs and beer.
As usual, with dinner at about 10:45 PM, it was well past midnight when we got home and into bed.
